January 2nd. This is my least favorite day of Christmas break because today is the day I have to take my Christmas decorations down. I love decorating for Christmas! If it were socially acceptable, I would leave the decorations up all year. But...I guess that would make them a little less special. So...I will take them down, but not before I document all of their "glitter-tastic" fabulousness! Now, the decorations can be enjoyed all year!

The living room! So cozy. |
The big tree! (one of three) I love our tree! I completely changed the decor this year. I went with a white and burlap theme...complete with fur and an owl tree topper. There are also various animals on the tree including birds, foxes, and one random squirrel. |
I love the "Believe" ornaments! |
Our first ornament! |
Awe! |
Nana Tree! I created this tree in memory of my Nana. Visit this link to read more about it. A Nana Tree |
Each year we add a new Hallmark ornament to the Nana Tree. This is the one we chose this year. |
Memory Tree! I decided to move all the ornaments I collected over the years to this little tree. These ornaments include ornaments made by Ariana, ornaments given to me by students or friends, and ornaments that have special meanings. |
Kevin made this one for Ariana's first Christmas. |
Ariana made the Starry Night inspired ornament in kindergarten. |
This one was given to me by a sweet student. |
My nutcracker collection found a new spot this year! |
I love the fireplace! |
I started collecting gnomes a few years ago! Aren't they cute! |
Target Dollar Spot find! |
The dining room! |
More dining room... |
See the little angel on the Laurel brick? My Nana bought this when I three years old because I played the angel in a play at church. I actually remember this play. I cried because I wanted to be Mary! Ha! |
I found this little angel when I was helping my grandfather (AKA Daddo) put up his Christmas decorations this year. My Nana bought it the year I was born. |
It has my name and the date on the bottom. It also has the price tag. We're not sure why, but Nana always left the price tags on everything. Ha! |
Ariana painted this truck. She used this image as the design for a Christmas t-shirt! Ariana created a company called Copper Cat Designs. She designs one-of-a-kind t-shirts! Cool! |
Dining room trees... |
The Merry sign is another Target Dollar Spot find! |
I bought Kevin a train for his birthday this year! It looks pretty cool around the tree. |
Kitchen Decor! |
We've had this stocking since Ariana was little. I love it! She still gets a letter from Santa each year. |
I love displaying the Christmas cards we receive. |
Kevin, Ariana and I made these trees for our annual Christmas contest! My Harry Potter Tree won. Yippee! |
I made this wreath a few years ago. |
I love the simplicity of this wreath. |
I save one of our Christmas cards each year and add it to this display. Precious memories. |
This year's card! |
The back! Ha! |
Outside Decor! |
Kevin and I made a North Pole this year! |
My Nana always put candles in her windows. I'm continuing this tradition. |
Now, everything is packed away. Until next year... |
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!
